Small Victories




 Last night I did Chest and Back and I am so glad that I did this workout today. I did not do as well as I thought I would of done tonight but you know what I have along way to go and I will improve everyday. I completed 178 push ups during the hour workout. So that is not bad to me I wanted to complete 200. So I have a little work to do to get to this point, but it is a small victory for me to get as many as I did... I like the small victories they are the things that keep us going and allow us to challenge ourselfs everyday. I cannot wait until tonights workout

Chest and Back



 Today starts the journey I am going to start and I am a little excited for this to start. I have done this program before and I want to get my muscles back. I really enjoy this workout as it is full of push ups and pull ups and other things. It is a World class workout and it goes back to the beginning of things most people have forgotten from all the gadgets out in the world now day. There is nothing like getting on the floor and cranking out as many push ups as you can in 60 seconds. The felling when you get back up is Awesome makes me feel as I am really doing something. This is one of the most challenging workouts in the series of DVD's.. It brings you back to the basics and this is what people forget do things that work and not make it hard.
 Those other gadgets are just that gadgets. Getting a Ripped body and hard wrok and you have to add the time to get that body you want. It does not happen over night it takes time. Make the time and you will not be sorry as it will show in your attitude and body. I can promise you this I have seen it happen time after time. This workout is not just a gadget it shos you how to do the exercise's with correct form and this is the key not to just go at it and get alot it is quailty over quantity.

Sometimes it is not easy, Sometimes it is hard. But the end result is always worth all the Pain and suffering you have put int it. If there was a simple way to get six pack Abs then everyone would do have them. Oh yeah they do have those Ab machines and rollers and gadgets. But the thing is you have to work to move those also but the real things that work are all in one place.. P90X, Insanity basically any Beachbody product is the real way to go hard work and results. What do you eat??

What does this picture tell you? My doctor has had this "processed food" on her counter ever since 2010 and 2011 respectively. I asked her why she had it out, she stated "to show people what they are putting into their bodies". This is man-made "processed food", not real food. Over time real food will decay, grow mold and produce a decomposing odor. This "processed food" has not done any of that, matter of fact it has kept it's original size, shape and texture. Many people think that a cancer patient should immediately a sedentary lifestyle, but doctors strongly advise against that mindset. Physical activity and exercise are a great benefit to a patient going through physically demanding cancer treatments.

Better health is the primary physical benefit a cancer patient sees when he remains active while receiving cancer treatments. The traditional reasons that healthy people exercise, including weight loss and cardiovascular health, are just as important to cancer patients, if not more so. Even during treatments, a cancer patient who watches his weight can see improvement in heart health, increased muscle strength and tone and a better overall level of fitness. More importantly, research is now showing that exercising during and after cancer treatment can lead to a
reduced risk of recurrence
.

 The mental and emotional benefits of exercise can be just as important, if not more so, in a patient undergoing treatment. He may be fighting pain and fatigue as well as depression. Moderate levels of exercise or general physical activity can offer a sense of control that a cancer patient so badly needs as his body is pummeled by treatments. A patient can experience an improved outlook on life in general and a growing self-confidence that he and his doctors can work together to treat his disease. 

 A cancer patient must listen to his body each day. His physical limitations are the key factor in determining what he can do on the job, around the house or in his exercise routine. While it’s important that the patient not overdo his activity so that he’s completely fatigued, it’s equally important that he continues to move and stay active. The physical activity that may feel moderately strenuous to the cancer patient nevertheless provides necessary movement as well as a vital sense of emotional well-being.

The type of exercise recommended is going to vary for each patient. There are many factors like previous athletic ability, stage of cancer, and type of cancer that can come into play. For example, mesothelioma and lung cancer causes many patients to focus on increasing lung capacity while breast cancer patients tend to focus on flexibility.

There will be times during treatment that a patient just can’t be active. It’s important that he ask for help when he needs to do so. Family members can take over household duties, or he can hire outside help. On the job, he can temporarily cut his hours back or switch to a less demanding job. When his body is telling him it is so fatigued that he needs to rest, he must not try to push through the exhaustion.
Once he’s completed his treatment, experts recommend that the cancer survivor begin increasing his exercise regimen slowly but steadily. He’ll see increased health and stamina as well as a better prognosis for remaining cancer-free for years to come.

Recovery



 Recovery for me and it is just what I needed I am still sore form the Ab workout yesterday. And I really needed this today it was a good one and hit all the right places. I am still sore and it will be better tomorrow I know it.. It has to be as I have to Dig Deep again tomorrow.. HA :) I cannot believe how these workouts are making me feel this round. I can feel it changing me and I LIKE IT... :)

Core and Ab Workout


 
 I changed up the workout tonight as it was just a little cold here today only -13 today for the High so I saw no sense in getting all Sweaty and going out in the cold to get sick. So I came back to the plant and then pushed play on Core 20 and Ab X.. These two together are a good combo they work all the right places you need them to work. Also during Ab X something happened to me that I have ...never done before I got out my Medicine Ball 8lbs. and I did the Mason Twists with it today. Normally I would not get through all the Mason Twists and today was no exception but you know what happened I started and I got all the way to 34 almost got all 40 before the bonus. So I stopped and started again and got all the Bonus done also with the Medicine Ball. So I got a small victory today also during the workout. So see if you Challenge yourself then things start to change.. Which is all we all want is Change...

Small Victories




Today was Power and Resistance and I can tell you that I did alot better during this workout than last week. I can tell you this I got all the way through the warm up and then WOW then what happened is Amazing for me.. The first set right out of the box is power jumps Why I have no idea but let me tell you I got all the first set in how many I do not know I didn't count but the second set I got 26... WOW.. But the best part is the third set I got 30 What the Heck is that all about. Well I can tell you it is called DIGGIN DEEP and getting it done. Yes it is a small victory but it is a victory for me. I continued the workout and I did great I did not take as many breaks but those darn Globe jumps who thinks of something like this?? A mad man that is who.. So I will do alot better on those next time.. Maybe even get a small victory at the same time..

Getting it Done Day One

 I completed Plyo Cardio Circuit for my Day 1 of Insanity. I chenged up my eating a little bit today for my afternoon snack and let me tell you I had some energy that was crazy. I did not get tired during this workout today. I actually got my muscles hurting before I had to stop and break. And yes I still have to break during these workouts but you know what I work on the form for these routines nd make them count this time not just pushing through but getting the correct form and getting them in.. It is a great feeling when you get to the end and see a puddle of sweat on the floor and say I DID IT.. Makes me feel as I can do anything..

Pure Cardio


 Today was a great day.. I had so much energy during the day it was crazy as I did not sleep very well last night but maybe just maybe the workout is working and giving me more energy..

Tonight was Pure Cardio and let me tell you I did better than I thought I would do during this workout. I learned something from this workout and I will tell you about it later. I really pushed it during this workout today and I got alot of reps. in during the Dig just Dig and the GO come on you can do it. I just really am trying t concentrate on the form right now and getting the best out of the workout as it is quality over quantity right now. When I get these forms down I will get those better reps and routines. Well I noticed I have lost some stregnth during this workout today. During the Push up jacks at the end I did not have the steegnth to get as many in as I used to and I am telling you this was very disappointing to me. I have worked hard to get this stregnth and now I have to start all over. Man that Sucks but it is part of the journey..

Challenge makes Changes


Challenge is the root of the way the world turns. Sometimes the Challenges are easy sometimes they are hard. But not matter what they are what makes you you and makes you better in life.. What is in You??

Plyometric Cardio Circuit


 This the workout that has made me feel better today.. I was sore for 3 days after my last workout so last night I got in on with this one and let me tell you I learned some things about myself last night.. I learned I ws out of shape again and need to get it back. I learned that I love the feeling I get with a good sweat from a Awesome workout. It is not so often that you can get a feeling of release from a daily activity, so when I can take the one hour for me then it makes it even more worth it. So maybe you need to release some of the endorphins in your body and feel alot better about things. My soreness is also gone from working it hard yesterday. I cannot believe how simply heating up the muscles and moving around can make them feel all better but it does, so today I will be getting it on again with another workout.. Have a good workout today. If you do not have a workout then go for a walk, run, jog, treadmill something to get the sweat on. You will not regret it..

Power and Resistance


 I got it on with Power and Resistance. I do not remember missing Insanity as much as I did.. I just put the DVD in and when I heard Shaun T YELL "COME ON" I was like lets do this.. I was so pumped again I can only say I did not do so good during the workout. I am so out of shape right now. When I was done my legs felt like Jello.. And I could barely walk but when I was driving back to the camp I picked up my water bottle and almost could not pick it up.. HA I am goig to like this week I am going to be doing Insanity all the rest of this week and maybe next week too. I am fixing to order the P90X2 equipment and I have to wait for it to come in so I am going to stay on Insanity until then. I hope you take the journey with me and keep pushing play..

 I am so sore this morning but it is a good sore I hope and I know it will get better after todays workout. So come and make a change in your Fitness...

Eating healthy ~ not always easy for most of us…  As much as we know we should, it just seems “easier” to eat bad!  When in reality ~ it is just as easy to eat healthy.  Oh, the excuses we come up with!!  Like “Eating healthy is too expensive”  Really??  When it comes down to it, eating healthy is no more expensive than buying all that junk food.  And even if it does cost a few cents more, is your health not worth that?

Chin up Bar

Do you need to do some Chin ups or maybe even want to get a Chin up Bar that does not just mount the the door frame. This Chin Up Bar is just one of the pieces of equipment that is needed for P90X.. Or just any type of Chin up. it does not monut it simple just sits on the door frame and you remove it when you have cranked out 100 Chin ups.. I have one and it is a good tool for any workout. Just to do 10 then everytime you walk under it just do another 10 Pull ups. Before you know it you are doing 100 Chin ups without even thinking about it..

END THE TREND

This is the reason I am trying to END the TREND with others from Beachbody. This is just getting out of control and we need to take care of our family and friends. Even if they do not want the help we have to talk to them and help them make the right choices in the nutrition they are getting. To see the children of the world just sitting around on the couch and eating all the bad foods is just out of control. We as parents need to get the kids off the couch and stop them from just getting lazy. This is the future of our country and families. Take control and help me help them out Beachbody has many programs for kids and adults. we need to get the family back together and spend time with each other and make things special in our lives again.
